Artist Statement

I’m a 22-year-old local artist residing in Dover, NH. Growing up my father served in the Marine Corps allowing me the opportunity to travel and live all over the world. From Japan to Europe I found the connection of art through all communities to be compelling. Art museums quickly became a favorite pastime of mine and I began painting when I was around 9 years old.

I now primarily love working with fluid paintings and linoleum carvings. My work is inspired by the nature around me, my travels, and my daily life. I try to show the beauty of the small, and the often overlooked things, with my linoleum works. With my fluid painting I love how no two painting are the same, and that somehow little hidden treasures can be found inside the lines.
