Artist Statement:
I create visual vessels, an intellectual experience for the viewer to make their own. It was by chance and desperation that I picked up a brush. The blank white canvas was an opportunity to release every suppressed, disconnected feeling. My style is non-representational abstract mixed medium. Encaustic, metal, glass, leafing, collage–large scale immersive work. I love beauty, complexity, reflective services. From minimalism to excess – it’s everything I have lived, loved, and hated. Every dread and triumph. Some have taken years to complete. This is my calling.
