Exhibits
At our library, we believe that art has the power to inspire, enrich, and connect communities. We take pride in fostering a dynamic connection between our artists and the community. Through our exhibits, we aim to not only provide a platform for local talent, but also encourage dialogue and appreciation for the arts.
We actively seek out emerging and established artists from the seacoast area, providing them with a platform to exhibit their work. By highlighting local artists, we celebrate the unique perspectives and cultural diversity that enrich our community. If you are interested in exhibiting your art in our space, please fill out our request to exhibit form, or contact our Programming & Marketing librarian, Tori, at t.simpsontucker.nhpl@gmail.com.

Throughout the month of December we’re thrilled to host Dover, NH based printmaker Madison Ramirez!
Artist Statement
I’m a 22-year-old local artist residing in Dover, NH. Growing up my father served in the Marine Corps allowing me the opportunity to travel and live all over the world. From Japan to Europe I found the connection of art through all communities to be compelling. Art museums quickly became a favorite pastime of mine and I began painting when I was around 9 years old.
I now primarily love working with fluid paintings and linoleum carvings. My work is inspired by the nature around me, my travels, and my daily life. I try to show the beauty of the small, and the often overlooked things, with my linoleum works. With my fluid painting I love how no two painting are the same, and that somehow little hidden treasures can be found inside the lines.
Join us for a reception to celebrate Madison’s exhibit on Thursday, December 12 at 1PM and get to know the artist while enjoying light refreshments provided by our Friends of the Library!
As we strive to foster a rich cultural atmosphere and establish the library as a center for creativity, we invite artists who wish to exhibit their work to contact
