The following is an update on the progress toward a municipal complex, or town center. The architect presented a plan in the meeting October 14th that encompassed the current Town Clerk’s office within a new library. Since the Town Clerk’s office or old stone building is on the State Historic Register and has been submitted to the National Register it cannot be used in the way the drawings portray. Since the meeting on the 14th there has been discussion to revisit and redesign one joint facility for the Town Offices and Library for the sake of economy and to preserve the stone building. We will post more information and drawings as they become available.
